Calgary advised FortisAlberta on its C$150m medium term notes offering

Our Calgary office advised FortisAlberta Inc. in relation to its offering of C$150m 3.734 percent unsecured medium term note debentures due September 18, 2048. The notes were issued through a syndicate of agents including RBC Capital Markets, BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc., TD Securities Inc., Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., National Bank Financial Inc., HSBC Securities (Canada) Inc., and Casgrain & Company Limited.

FortisAlberta owns and operates more than 60 per cent of Alberta’s total electricity distribution network.
