Montreal advises Réseau express métropolitain inc. on C$1.283bn financing with Canada Infrastructure Bank

Our Montreal office advised Réseau express métropolitain inc. on its completed C$1.283bn financing with Canada Infrastructure Bank in connection with Réseau express métropolitain (REM), a C$6.3bn automated lightrail transportation system in the Greater Montreal area. This is the first financing completed by Canada Infrastructure Bank. The REM project comprises 67 kilometres of railway and 26 stations and, once complete, will be one of the largest automated transportation system in the world.

The team included Robert Borduas and Thomas Nichols as well as the translation team including Hélène Bourque and Jacqueline El Haddad.
