Peter Charbonneau is developing a broad business law practice with a focus on public and private mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and securities matters.
Mr. Charbonneau joined our Toronto office as a summer student in 2015 and returned to complete his articles the following year. During his articles, Mr. Charbonneau was seconded to the legal department of the Royal Bank of Canada where he gained valuable experience working on banking, technology and regulatory matters.
While in law school, Mr. Charbonneau served as a caseworker and directing committee member with Queen's Legal Aid Clinic and volunteered as an editor of the law journal. During his undergraduate studies, Mr. Charbonneau worked for the Royal Bank of Canada in a financial risk management role.
