Harry Theochari is a shipping and asset finance lawyer based in London, where he is Head of Transport. He is experienced in international shipping finance and has wide experience of syndicated facilities, OECD and Export Credit based financings, structured financings and capital market transactions.
Harry is highly regarded in international shipping finance and he has been involved with the financing of both new building and second-hand vessels, oil rigs, platforms and other floating structures all over the world. Harry is shown by Lloyd’s List as the most influential shipping lawyer in the world and his team have been awarded the Lloyds Shipping Economist “Legal Services related to shipping finance” award, the Jane’s Transport Finance “Shipping finance law” award and the Legal Business Shipping Award on many occasions.
Harry is cited as a leading individual for shipping finance in Chambers and Partners 2012 edition and is ranked as a leading individual for asset finance in the Legal 500 2011 edition.
