Sven Jacobs is a technology and life science lawyer in our Frankfurt office. He focuses on data privacy, software license and outsourcing agreements and has experience in intellectual property and competition law.

While on secondment, Sven advised a major pharmaceutical company regarding outsourcing agreements, general commercial projects as well as competition law issues in 2014/2015.

Sven studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität in Heidelberg and at the University of Ottawa, Canada. Thereafter, he was a research assistant the Institute for German and European Corporate and Commercial Law at the University of Heidelberg.

Sven is a lecturer for international intellectual property law at the University of Karlsruhe (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology – KIT) and for copyright and competition law at the German Graduate School of Management and Law, Heilbronn. In addition, Sven is co-author of a soon to be published commentary on the Community Trade Mark Regulation.

Sven is fluent in German and English.
