Jamie Nowak is a dispute resolution and commercial/technology lawyer based in Munich. Heading the German disputes and technology practice he specialises in contentious matters and proceedings and commercial contracts.
Jamie’s contentious experience comprises a wide variety of national and international litigation, mediation and arbitration matters (in particular post M&A, banking, aviation, energy, insurance, corporate, shareholder and IT/IP disputes). Non-contentious matter experience include general terms & conditions, distribution law (e.g. distribution, agency, franchise, cooperation and licensing agreements), IT/IP (e.g. data protection, e-commerce, outsourcing, copyrights, trademarks) and unfair competition law.
Jamie holds a law degree and a master in International and European Commercial Law from Munich University (LL.M. Eur.). He is fluent in German and English. He is a member of the German-American-Lawyers-Association, the German Institution of Arbitration (DIS) and the German Society for Law and Information Technology (DGRI). Jamie is also a certified specialised labour lawyer (Fachanwalt für Arbeitsrecht).
