Foreign Legal Consultant
Ji Liu is a US-qualified lawyer based in Hong Kong. He has considerable experience advising U.S. domestic and cross-border capital markets transactions such as equity, investment grade debt, high yield debt, convertible debt and rights offerings, including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, shelf registrations, Rule 144A/Regulation S offerings and liability management transactions, as well as mergers and acquisitions, bank finance and venture capital financing. His experience includes transactions in, among other things, the mining, the technology, health care, telecommunication, pharmaceuticals, energy, food and real estate industries. In addition, he has represented companies related to compliance under U.S. federal securities laws, corporate governance and other general corporate issues.
Ji received his Bachelor of Science degree from Fudan University in Shanghai, Master of Science degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Master of Science degree from Stanford University, and Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from the University of Michigan Law School.
Ji is a native Chinese (Mandarin) speaker and speaks English fluently.
