Tong Ai is a corporate lawyer based in Shanghai. She specialises in PRC related corporate matters.
Tong Ai has been involved in a number of cross-border merger and acquisition transactions (both private acquisitions and public takeovers) and has considerable experience advising foreign investors on foreign direct investments, joint ventures, and regulatory matters with respect to their foreign investments in PRC through foreign strategic or financial investments. Specifically, she has extensive experience on foreign investments in China by foreign financial institutions, such as insurance (or insurance intermediaries) companies, fund/asset management companies, and the regulatory aspects of distribution and resale networks for financial products in China.
