Our panelists include:

  • Sandra Phillips Rogers is group vice president, chief legal officer, general counsel and corporate secretary of Toyota Motor North America, Inc. (TMNA). In this role, she oversees the legal services function for Toyota's North American operations, Toyota Legal One ("TL1"), and representation of the company and its affiliates. She serves as an advisor to the TMNA Executive Committee and is a member of the company's global team. She is a founding member of and serves on the Executive Committee for the Center for Women in Law at The University of Texas School of Law, which is devoted to the success of the entire spectrum of the women in law. In recognition of her leadership in advancing diversity and inclusion in the legal  profession, she received the 2016 Legacy Award from the Brennan Center for Justice at New York University School of Law. In 2017, she received the Burton Foundation Legend in Law Award and was named "GC Impact Player of the Year" by D CEO. Black Enterprise has recognized her as one of its "75 Most Powerful Women in Business" (2017) and "300 Most Powerful Executives in Corporate America" (2018). She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council.
  • Linda Addison is the Immediate Past Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright US, and previously served as Global Head of Dispute Resolution and Litigation and as Partner-in-Charge of the New York office. Crain's New York Business named her one of the "50 Most Powerful Women in New York." She was named one of the "50 Most Influential Women Lawyers in the US" and one of the "100 Most Influential Lawyers in the US," both by the National Law Journal, and a Distinguished Leader by the New York Law Journal. The Texas Lawyer honored her with its first Lifetime Achievement Award. Linda serves on the Board of Directors and Compensation Committee of Torchmark Corporation (NYSE: TMK), an S&P 500 company, headquartered in McKinney, Texas. She also serves on the boards of the non-profits Catalyst, the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Foundation, and the University of Texas Law School Foundation, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. She was named a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Texas at Austin.
  • George Pataki led the state of New York serving three terms as the 53rd governor of New York state, from 1995 through 2006. Governor Pataki was in office on September 11, 2001. Working with his Yale classmate, President George W. Bush, New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and many others, he handled that leadership crisis as well as the aftermath involving multiple federal, state, and local agencies. The Governor George E. Pataki Leadership and Learning Center in New York is named for him and promotes leadership principles. During his tenure as New York's chief executive, Governor Pataki led the state in advancing award-winning, cutting-edge policies in the renewable energy and environmental fields. His initiatives included the protection of over one million acres of open space, the adoption of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, the implementation of the nation's first green building tax credit, landmark brownfield legislation and programs to enhance the production, and use of alternative energy like biodiesel, ethanol, fuel cells and clean coal.
  • Brett Govett (Moderator) is a disputes partner in Norton Rose Fulbright's Dallas office. Brett was certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for Civil Trial Law in 2000 and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Previously, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Reynaldo G. Garza of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
