The 22nd session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 22) took place from 7-18 November 2016 in Marrakech. Significant progress has been made during the course of 2016 in respect of the ratification of the Paris Agreement and the publication of Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Agreement.
