DC lawyer joins Pittsburgh law faculty, teaching new graduate healthcare compliance program

Washington, DC lawyer, Mark Faccenda joins the faculty of the new Health Care Compliance Online Graduate Certificate Program for the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
This online program provides a foundation in healthcare law with a focus on compliance issues. The self-paced format was designed to meet the needs of those already working in compliance as well as attorneys, health care professionals and industry leaders while maintaining their full-time pursuits. Faccenda will be instructing students in hospital and provider compliance.
Faccenda’s practice focuses on health care regulatory matters including compliance with reimbursement, licensure, survey and certification, accreditation, Medicare Conditions of Participation, fraud and abuse, and data privacy requirements. Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Faccenda worked for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Legislative Office for Research Liaison and for payer and provider sides of an integrated health system.
