Norton Rose Fulbright participates in SRA’s new LGBT mentoring scheme

May 10, 2018

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has been appointed as one of the mentor firms in the new LGBT mentoring scheme supported by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), The Law Society and Stonewall, the LGBT rights charity in the United Kingdom.

The aim of the mentoring scheme is to help small and medium-sized law firms across England and Wales, to develop their approach to LGBT inclusivity. The SRA has recruited 22 firms to take part in the pilot for an initial six to twelve month period.

Farmida Bi, Chair of Europe, Middle East and Asia, Norton Rose Fulbright, commented:

“As a firm we are delighted to help ensure LGBT colleagues feel comfortable in their workplace. We are very much looking forward to working with other law firms to make sure that this remains a priority across the legal profession.”

In January 2018, Norton Rose Fulbright were included in the Top 20 in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index. This was the fifth year they have been included in the Top 100.
