Laure Joncour has joined the Paris office of Norton Rose LLP as partner heading its employment practice. She is accompanied by a team of three lawyers including Of Counsel Marie-Thérèse Eugenio and Elodie Grangier.
Laure regularly advises multinational companies, particularly in the technology and financial institution sectors, with respect to their French operations, covering the entire spectrum of employment issues, including individual and collective bargaining agreements, labour relations and dispute resolution, as well as employment issues arising out of mergers and acquisitions and restructuring programmes.
Laure previously formed the Paris employment law practice of Simmons & Simmons, which she joined in 1994, becoming a partner in 2003. She began her career in the legal department of the French social security administration (URSSAF) in Paris in 1990 before joining the law firm David Gage SELARL in 1992.
Admitted to the Paris bar in 1994, Laure obtained a Masters in business law in 1989 from the University of Paris X - Nanterre. She is a member of the European Employment Law Association and of Avosial, an association of employment lawyers.

Marie-Thérèse Eugenio returns to Norton Rose LLP as Of Counsel at the same time. She previously worked in the Paris employment practice of Norton Rose LLP from 1997 to 2003 and then joined Laure Joncour’s team in 2003. Admitted to the bar in Paris in 1996, Marie-Thérèse holds a post-Masters (DEA) degree in business and commercial law from the University of Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne.
