South African legal practice, Norton Rose South Africa has appointed a property lawyer Junaid Nabbie and a banking and finance lawyer Rorisang Mongoato for its Johannesburg office.

Junaid Nabbie is an attorney in the real estate department. He has more than eight years practice experience as an attorney, notary and conveyancer. Junaid practice includes the drafting of property related agreements, and the registration of property transfers, mortgage bonds and other deeds of security at the various deeds registries. His commercial litigation background enhances his ability to fulfil his role in the firm.

Rorisang Mongoato joins the firm’s large banking and finance department using her experience as an attorney doing commercial, banking and finance, debt capital markets and tax law.

After qualifying Rorisang moved to New York in 2010 where she spent 18 months working for the leading US law firm, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, as an associate in the firm’s capital markets and banking and finance departments. Her insights gained from overseas experience will add yet more strength to the banking and finance department.
