December 13, 2010
Andrew P. Price
Fulbright partner, Andrew Price, is one of three Houston professionals selected to participate in the 2011 Marshall Memorial Fellowship (MMF).
Price was chosen as one of United States’ emerging leaders to visit five European cities for a 24-day period. During his stay, he will meet many leaders throughout Europe and be educated on the political, economic and social issues facing the US and Europe.
Fellows are chosen by the German Marshall Fund (GMF) and its’ partner organizations across the US. Based upon his essay and recommendations, Price was selected from a pool of approximately thirty Houston nominees. Narrowed down to nine semi-finalists, Price was then interviewed by the MMF Selection Committee.
The committee included leaders from the Houston business community who have held leadership positions at the World Affairs Council, Fulbright & Rhodes Scholar selection committees and Rice University’s Baker Institute.
Price will join 44 other fellows to represent the United States.
The MMF is sponsored by GMF to foster cooperation and understanding between Europe and North America.
