Fulbright Lawyer Honored with Lifetime Achievement Award in Energy Litigation

Fulbright Senior Partner (Ret.) and current Of Counsel, Richard N. Carrell has been chosen as the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in Energy Litigation. Carrell will be honored at the Institute for Energy Law's 10th Annual Energy Litigation Conference on November 3, 2011.
The Institute for Energy Law (IEL) is one of eight divisions of the Center for American and International Law (CAIL). IEL members make up some of the world's leading energy companies and lawyers to provide advanced, continuing legal education for lawyers and other professionals concerned with the energy industry.
Fulbright is widely recognized for its efforts in domestic and international litigation and arbitration, representing all sectors of the global energy and natural resources industry, including oil and gas, power, alternative energy and mining.
Carrell has practiced in Fulbright's Houston office since 1970, handling complex commercial litigation including antitrust, securities, contracts and oil and gas matters. He also has extensive experience in class action litigation.
Carrell has previously been selected as one of The Best Lawyers in America - civil litigation and Texas Super Lawyer - antitrust law.
