Joosje Hamilton is a consultant in our London antitrust and competition team. Joosje advises clients on issues arising under the EU and UK competition and merger control laws, utilities regulation, state aid and public procurement laws. She has considerable experience of advising clients in regulated sectors, in particular energy and water.

Joosje has advised various companies, shareholders and sponsors on a range of merger control, competition and regulatory law issues arising from a number of LNG projects. She has also advised investors on the regulatory regimes applicable to the energy sectors in the EU and the UK; the UK water regulator, Ofwat, the Thames Tideway Tunnel project; and the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund on the privatisation of 14 regional airports in Greece. 

As a Dutch national, Joosje also provides competition law advice for our Dutch practice, including: representing clients before the Dutch competition authority and the Autoriteit Consument & Markt, for merger notifications and competition law cases.
