Sue Ann Gan is a shipping lawyer based in Singapore.
Sue Ann has been committed to the shipping industry since the start of her career and was recently recognised by the Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2017 as a Next Generation Lawyer in the shipping sector in Singapore.
Sue Ann's practice focuses on ship finance, where she acts for financial institutions, private equity houses, lessees and owners on a wide range of ship finance and leasing transactions. She also advises on limited recourse project financings in the shipping sector for all asset classes and has experience in syndicated and structured debt financing and export credit financing (including KEXIM/KSURE and Sinosure backed transactions).
Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Sue Ann practiced shipping litigation. She is able to deal with complex issues that arise in risk management and restructuring matters (including workouts, rehabilitation process, enforcement of security and sale of assets).

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised Fortune Lianjiang Shipping S.A., an indirect subsidiary of shipping conglomerate CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping Company Limited, on the US$1.2 billion financing and delivery of the world’s first converted floating liquefied natural gas (FLNG) production vessel “Hilli Episeyo”, under a sale and leaseback agreement between Fortune Liangjiang Shipping S.A. as lessor and Golar Hilli Corporation as bareboat charterer, supported by Golar LNG Limited. .
