Peter Young is a capital markets lawyer based in London. He is an English and New York law qualified partner in the London practice.
Peter has extensive experience advising investment banks, sovereign and quasi-sovereign issuers and corporate clients in a broad range of English and New York law governed cross-border debt financings, including high-yield, sovereign and investment grade debt, exchangeable and convertible bonds, commercial paper programmes, exchange offers, tender offers and consent solicitations, as well as UK and US IPOs and rights offerings. He has also advised a number of leading European corporates on compliance and corporate governance matters.
His experience principally includes advising entities operating in the financial services, energy, technology, retail, manufacturing, healthcare, power, oil and gas, pharmaceuticals, shipping and steel sectors, as well as emerging market sovereign, quasi-sovereign and financial institution clients.
Peter joined the London practice as a partner in 2012. Prior to this, he was a partner in a leading U.S. law firm, based in London.
