David Lee is a dispute resolution lawyer based in Hong Kong. He specialises in disputes and contentious regulatory matters involving financial institutions and listed companies. He has wide experience of acting for clients in cases before the High Court in Hong Kong and in England and Wales as well representing clients in SFC, HKSE, FSA, SFO and other regulatory investigations. David has particular experience of high value disputes in respect of derivatives and other financial products as well investigations relating to insider trading and the disclosure of misleading information.
David has undertaken secondments in the litigation departments of two global banks. During those secondments, he worked on a wide range of disputes for the consumer and wholesale arms of each bank and managed a portfolio of disputes across Asia.
David joined our commercial and banking dispute resolution team in 2004 and moved to Hong Kong office in 2011.
