International legal practice Norton Rose Group is promoting eighteen to Of Counsel and five to Special Counsel, the Australian equivalent. The new promotions took effect from 1 May 2010 and follow the recent announcement of eleven new partners.
There are five promotions in both Australia and London, three in Paris, two each in Italy, Germany and Bahrain and one each in Hong Kong, Singapore, Warsaw and Amsterdam.
Seven of the promotions are in dispute resolution, six in banking, six in corporate (including two in insurance), two in tax, one in real estate, and one in competition.
