Ben Rose is an asset and project finance lawyer based in Singapore. He is a partner and specialises in offshore oil and gas and shipping finance transactions.
Ben has experience of a broad range of international transactions in the asset finance and offshore oil and gas sectors and represents owners, lessors, banks and government agencies in connection with all types of secured lending, capital raising, leasing, multi-jurisdictional sale and purchase transactions and newbuilding finance. He has advised on a range of projects including limited recourse project financings in the offshore oil and gas and shipping sectors and has extensive experience in syndicated and structured debt financing, cross-border leasing (in particular in the UK lease market), off-balance sheet structures, Islamic financing, export credit financing and receivables financing in the cruise sector.
Ben read law at Exeter University and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales in 1999. He has worked in each of our London, Athens and Singapore offices and was promoted to partner in 2009.
