Jake Robson is a corporate lawyer based in Singapore. He has considerable experience in cross border acquisitions, disposals and joint venture arrangements both in South and South East Asia and in Europe as well as private equity and equity capital markets work, including acting for both issuers and underwriters on IPOs and secondary fundraisings across various Asian Stock Exchanges.
Jake has a particular focus on the financial institutions, resources, mining, commodities and telecoms sectors and has worked on numerous high profile and high value transactions for multi-national clients such as AXA, Louis Dreyfus Commodities and HSBC.
Jake is commended by Chambers Asia Pacific 2012 as “a respected corporate partner known for his cross-border expertise in the financial services sector”.
Jake attended Exeter University where he gained a B.A. in modern languages (French and Italian). He then attended the College of Law in London where he was awarded a commendation in his CPE and LPC exams. Jake joined the practice in 1998. He moved to the Singapore office in 2005. In addition to English, Jake speaks and writes fluent French and Italian.
