Austin partner presents at the Bermuda Healthcare Forum

Yvonne Puig (Austin) represented the global law firm at The Bermuda Healthcare Forum, Bermuda, on April 25, 2018. Ms. Puig was joined by Denise Watkins, Sompo International, and Dr. Carl Bergetz, Chief Legal Officer of Rush University Medical Center.

The two day program focused on risk financing, complex commercial litigation of life science and healthcare claims, emerging trends and disruptors in the industry. Forum sessions included “Demystifying Risk Analysis and Cognitive Bias,” “The e-Volution of Product Liability for Healthcare Providers,” “Disruptors in Healthcare” and more.

Approximately 210 professionals attended, representing the banking sector, global insurers and reinsurers, and health systems.
