Our firm and three of our lawyers have been shortlisted for Euromoney Legal Media Group Americas' 2016 Women in Business Law Awards. This accolade recognizes the best lawyers in various practice areas and firms with the best initiatives for gender diversity, innovations, minority women, mentoring, work-life balance, pro bono work and talent management.

As a firm, Norton Rose Fulbright is a finalist for "best international firm Latin America practice" and "best international firm for work-life balance." Furthermore, we are shortlisted for "US Northeast" and "US South" in North America. Jane Snoddy Smith (Austin) is shortlisted for "best in real estate" while Peggy Heeg (Houston) and Lisa Tonery (New York) are up for the "best in energy, natural resources and mining" award.

Nominations were based on preliminary research and submissions. The awards ceremony will take place June 9 at Essex House in New York.
