Houston litigation partner earns IEL’s lifetime achievement award

The Institute for Energy Law (IEL) honored Dan McClure (Houston) with its Lifetime Achievement in Energy Litigation Award.

A partner in Norton Rose Fulbright's Houston office, McClure has an active trial practice in both state and federal courts involving a variety of civil litigation matters. He has represented energy clients in all segments of the oil and gas industry, including producers, gatherers, processors, pipelines, traders, refiners and marketers. He has extensive first-chair jury trial and arbitration experience and is certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  McClure has concentrated his energy practice in complex commercial litigation, including class actions, multidistrict litigation, qui tam actions, business torts, contract disputes, antitrust, and government investigations.

McClure was presented with the award at IEL's 15th Annual Energy Litigation Conference held November 3, 2016, at the Hilton Houston Post Oak hotel.

The Institute for Energy Law is a continuing legal education provider that presents several educational conferences and seminars each year, publishes papers and periodicals, and provides a forum in which contemporary issues affecting the energy industries can be discussed.
