Dallas lawyer part of the winning team in the ‘Diversity in Law Hackathon’

June 28, 2018

Lisa Atlas Genecov (Dallas), US Chief Diversity Officer, was part of the winning team that created “D&I Dash,” at this year’s “Diversity in Law Hackathon.”

The third annual “Diversity in Law Hackathon” features a series of pitch competitions created by the Diversity Lab in collaboration with Bloomberg Law. The event, that took place at Harvard Law School, organized nine teams that were tasked to create innovative ideas that aim to grow diversity and inclusion in law firms and legal departments.

This year’s winning team—comprising law firm partners, legal department heads and a Harvard Law student—spent the last four months establishing their ideas for the expansion of law firm and legal department diversity.

The Diversity & Inclusion Dashboard, or “D&I Dash,” was composed to be phased in over a three year period with the aim of centralizing information and encouraging publication on data recruitment, retention, promotion and pay equity, as well creating accessibility of information to the legal community.
