Ronn is a partner in the Minneapolis office. He devotes his practice to complex civil litigation in the areas of intellectual property, products liability, and commercial matters. He has tried more than 25 cases in state and federal courts in Minnesota, New York, Texas and several other jurisdictions across the country. These trials covered topics as diverse as patents, banking, employment, commercial/contract matters, shareholder disputes and product liability claims.

His intellectual property litigation practice includes patent, trademark and trade secrets cases for small companies and Fortune 500 corporations. Mr. Kreps' products liability practice includes preventive advice, alternative dispute resolution and national defense programs. As a trial lawyer he recognizes that aggressive litigation skills and strategies must be paired with creative ADR approaches to solve clients' problems.

    • Leading financial institution in series of fraud claims, two of which went to trial and were resolved favorably for the company
    • Major pharmaceutical manufacturer in nationwide litigation involving hemorrhagic stroke cases
    • Major industrial manufacturers in significant property loss and personal injury claims around the country
    • Seller of commercial equipment in breach of contract cases
    • Franchisor in franchise, trademark and breach of contract cases
    • Patent holder in major patent infringement claims against other manufacturers of medical products
    • Energy company in one of the largest trademark disputes in the Upper Midwest involving a high profile new mark
    • Several manufacturers and retailers in trade secrets and employment matters involving non-compete agreements
    • Contractor in federal court jury trial which resulted in a seven figure verdict in the client's favor on a large construction project
