Norton Rose Fulbright advises NTT Leasing on the financing of five Airbus A320NEO aircraft

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright advised NTT TC Leasing Co. Ltd. (NTT Leasing), a subsidiary of Nippon Telegraph and Telephone Corporation, on its arranging of financings for five Airbus A320NEO aircraft. 

The aircraft, operated by Deutsche Lufthansa AG (DLH), were financed through sale and lease back structures, with a subsidiary of NTT Leasing acting as lessor and, at the same time, debt-financier. The structures are set up with fully debt-funded warehousing structures which allow a subsequent conversion into alternative investment structures, which have already been pre-agreed in the documentation. All five transactions closed in July 2021.

The firm advised NTT Leasing on the entire transaction throughout its structuring, documentation, negotiation and implementation.
