Norton Rose Fulbright assisted Data Medica in the restructuring process of the company

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised and represented Data Medica Padova, a leader company in the healthcare sector, based in the Veneto Region, in the information and consultation procedure with unions for the collective dismissal of 23 of the 156 employees of the company.

Data Medica is part of Synlab Group, Europe’s largest clinical laboratory service provider, ranked in the top 10 EU companies active in the analytical laboratories sector.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team was led by Head of Italy and employment team leader Attilio Pavone, assisted by Giorgio Manca, associate.

“We have been working side by side with Synlab for years to help them manage their relations with the workers union in Italy. This latest agreement was particularly challenging to reach, given the high number of redundancies.
