Norton Rose Fulbright advises Egis on Calibre Professional Services acquisition in Australia and New Zealand

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised global consulting, construction, engineering and operating company Egis on its acquisition of sustainable engineering and consulting services business Calibre Professional Services.

The acquisition provides Egis with an established company focused on urban development, water and roads, and building services and structures across Australia and New Zealand. The acquisition builds on Egis’ global engineering capabilities and bolsters its end-to-end sustainability service offering in Australia and New Zealand.

Calibre Professional Services has a team of over 400 people, and its focus on sustainability will enable Egis to expand its sustainable development offering to help to mitigate the impact of climate change and build strong and resilient communities.

The Norton Rose Fulbright team advised on all aspects of the competitive process deal, including legal due diligence, negotiation of sale documentation and warranty and indemnity insurance. The acquisition is subject to customary conditions, including regulatory approvals.
