Johanne Gauthier is a registered nurse with over 20 years of industrial experience in occupational health and safety. She provides management consulting services regarding clients’ occupational health and safety matters, including accident prevention, claims management, preparation of litigation files, conciliation and the administration of clients’ financial files with the Commission de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (occupational health and safety commission). Ms. Gauthier also participates in due diligence reviews of many major transactions and handles disability issues relating to various private and public plans for a number of clients.

As an occupational health and safety manager for seven years, notably in the pulp and paper industry, Ms. Gauthier directed the health and safety administrative services in several plants. She also designed and implemented accident prevention and occupational health programs and disability and employment injury claims management programs.

She frequently gives training sessions to clients on occupational health and safety and assists lawyers in our Canadian offices with medical issues in litigation files.
