Kristen Hooke is a corporate and commercial lawyer based in Melbourne.
Kristen has extensive automotive industry experience. Prior to joining the firm, she was General Counsel of GM Holden, subsidiary of General Motors Company. In that role, she was responsible for managing all legal affairs of Holden's operations, both in Australia and New Zealand, reporting directly to the US parent.
Over her 16 years at GM Holden, Kristen accumulated vast experience with the Holden dealer network, one of the largest networks in Australia. This diverse work, with a strong commercial focus, ranged from leading negotiations on complex commercial agreements, advising on the application of competition laws and implementation of various platforms, including the dealer inventory management systems and customer-facing dealer digital solutions. She worked extensively with the US parent in negotiating and drafting of global supply arrangements.
Kristen has held several key positions, including as a representative on the Legal Committee for the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries for over 10 years.
