Biography
Julia Kampouridi is an antitrust and competition lawyer based in Brussels. She is qualified in Ireland and also admitted in New York. She advises clients on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, state aid and antitrust. Julia has particular experience in notifying mergers to the European Commission and the Hellenic Competition Commission.
Julia studied law at King's College London and the University of Strasbourg, focusing on EU and international law. She holds a Master's degree in international law and business law from the University of California, Berkeley. Prior to joining Norton Rose Fulbright, Julia gained experience at international law firms in Brussels and at the EU General Court, within the chambers of the President of the Eighth Chamber. During her traineeships at the European Commission within the Directorate General for Competition and at the Competition and Markets Authority in London, Julia gained practical experience working inside competition authorities.
As a Greek native, Julia is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of French and German.
