Biography

Bartosz Odziemkowski is an energy and infrastructure lawyer based in Warsaw.

He focuses on transactions in the energy sector, in particular on issues related to renewable energy sources. He focuses his practice on construction, real estate and regulatory matters but also has experience in advising on risks related to project agreements such as PPAs, EPCs, TSAs and O&M contracts.

Bartosz is a trainee advocate and a graduate of the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Law and Administration), he is also a member of the Energy Law Academic Group. Bartosz has  completed a basic English law course at the British Law Centre.

  • Advised a consortium of Polish financial institutions, comprising mBank and Bank Ochrony Środowiska, on a long-term refinancing facility of PLN 227 million (EUR 53.5 million) granted to special purpose vehicles controlled by Atsinaujinančios Energetikos Investicijos, a closed-end investment fund managed by Lords LB Asset Management.
  • Advised PKO Bank Polski and Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) on the financing acquisition and financing construction of biogas plants owned by Neo Biofuel Energy, a subsidiary of Neo Bio Energy. 
  • Advised mBank and Bank Millennium on the PLN 400 million (EUR 94.12 million) refinancing of an operating 175 MWp PV portfolio located in Poland and sponsored by ib vogt GmbH.
  • Advised PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna on the €3 billion financing of the PGE part of the construction of the 1.5 GW Baltica 2 offshore wind farm located off the Polish coast in the Baltic Sea between Ustka and Choczewo.
