QCA: New Boardroom Guides published – Audit, Remuneration and Nomination Committee Guides
On 1 July 2025, the Quoted Companies Alliance (QCA) published three new board committee guides to accompany the QCA Environmental and Social Guide published in December 2024.
The QCA Audit Committee Guide and the QCA Remuneration Committee Guide have been updated, with the QCA Nomination Committee Guide being a new publication. They all set out the QCA’s views of good practice and accompany the QCA Corporate Governance Code that was last updated in November 2023. They have been prepared to assist the relevant committee members, particularly the committee chair, to be effective in their roles. They are also designed to work alongside the QCA Environmental and Social Guide.
The Guides can be purchased from the QCA.

Parker Review: FAQs on the extension of scope to encompass senior management – Guidance
In June 2025, the Parker Review Committee published updated guidance, in the form of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), for use by those companies that need to prepare data for reporting to the Parker review on their senior management in December 2025.
FTSE 350 companies and 50 large privately-owned businesses have been asked by the Parker Review to voluntarily supply data in relation to their board members and senior management. The FAQs were last published in July 2024 to assist the reporting companies and some additional questions have been added and further guidance provided.
Examples of new questions answered are as follows:
- Should we include our Senior Managers who are not located in the UK in our submissions to the Parker review?
- What information provided will be disclosed publicly?
- For the Board, should we continue to report to the Parker Review the ethnic composition of all its directors irrespective of their location?
- Will the Parker Review rank companies on their responses to its annual censuses?
