Crain’s New York Business honors US lawyer as a Notable Woman in the Law

Crain's New York Business honored Alyssa Marie Vazquez (New York) as one of its Notable Women in the Law 2019.

Crain's praised Vazquez, Norton Rose Fulbright's US Head of Aviation, for her outstanding work in aviation finance, aircraft leasing, equipment financing and secured lending.

"For clients that include borrowers, equity participants, lenders, lessees, leasing companies and airlines, Vazquez advises on finance, lease and acquisition matters in both domestic and cross-border transactions," the publication noted in a special section on the awards. "She is active in aviation finance industry groups and recently was named vice-chair of the Legal Advisory Panel to the Aviation Working Group, a nonprofit serving major aviation manufacturers, leasing companies and financial institutions."

Crain's determines winners based on whether candidates have excelled in their fields, had a positive impact on New York City communities and provided successful leadership.
