Norton Rose Fulbright announces new managing partner in Vancouver

Canada Press release January 9, 2020

Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce the appointment of Kieran Siddall as the new managing partner of the firm’s Vancouver office, effective January 1st. He succeeds Janet Grove, who held this leadership role for four years.

Charles Hurdon, Norton Rose Fulbright’s managing partner for Canada, said:

“I am pleased to congratulate Kieran on assuming this important role in a very strategic market. Kieran’s dedication to the firm and our clients will serve him well as he looks to continue the strong work of Janet Grove and the whole Vancouver team.”

Kieran is an experienced litigator who handles corporate and commercial disputes and insolvency-related matters. His extensive background includes contractual disputes, shareholder and related corporate disputes, class actions, real estate disputes, civil fraud, and corporate reorganizations, bankruptcies and receivership.

As managing partner, Kieran looks to maintain Norton Rose Fulbright’s strong presence in the Vancouver market. He will also sit on the firm’s national management committee.

Commenting on his new appointment, Kieran Siddall said:

“I am honoured to be entrusted with this leadership responsibility. I am extremely fortunate to work alongside an incredible group of dedicated and talented individuals. In my new role, I look forward to contributing to the continued success of our firm.”

Kieran obtained his law degree from Cambridge University. Following an appointment as a judicial assistant to the Court of Appeal of England and Wales, he had practised in London for several years prior to returning to Vancouver, his hometown.
