Three New York partners named to Crain’s 2022 ‘Notable Diverse Leaders in Law’

Crain's New York Business has named New York partners Robin Adelstein, Judith Archer and Ayse Yuksel Mahfoud to its 2022 list of "Notable Diverse Leaders in Law."

The publication recognizes organizations and top law professionals from underrepresented groups in New York City who have made an impact in New York through their cases, clients or pro bono work. The individuals are being honored both online and in a special print edition for their successes over the last 18 months.

Adelstein, Global Head of Antitrust and Competition and US Co-Head of Commercial Litigation, is a veteran of Crain's listings, most recently having been named to the 2022 "Notable Women in Law" list. She is responsible for leading a team of nearly 200 lawyers around the world, in countries and regions as diverse as South Africa, Australia, Canada, EU and the US and leads the firm's largest practice group.

Archer, Co-Partner-in-Charge of the firm's New York office and a member of the US Management Committee, is committed to diversity and inclusion initiatives and was instrumental in developing the firm's Flexible Work Program. She is the chair of the Women in the Legal Profession Committee of the New York City Bar Association, where she has organized, spoken on and moderated programs and contributed to the committee's efforts to provide programming, guidance and community for women lawyers and law students. She previously chaired Norton Rose Fulbright's Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) Network.

As Global Head of Corporate, M&A and Securities, Yuksel Mahfoud supervises and promotes the acclaimed practice and develops its global strategy. Based in New York, Yuksel Mahfoud also leads the firm's Istanbul office and is a member of the firm's Global Executive Committee. She has demonstrated a commitment to advancing the empowerment of women in law and has been instrumental in the firm's global expansion. She is extensively involved in the New York-metro community, serving as the lead pro bono counsel for Jazz at Lincoln Center, a New York non-profit.
