Biography
Flupke van den Bogart is a Government Relations Manager in our Government Relations and Public Policy practice based in Brussels.
He advises clients on EU legislative and regulatory processes, across all stages of the legislative review process. Flupke has a focus on the following sectors: financial services; sustainable finance; competition; data and technology.
Flupke's clients include financial institutions, international organisations and businesses in the technology sector.
Recently, a large share of Flupke's work focused on the ongoing implementation of the EU Capital Markets Union and related legislative initiatives. This includes forthcoming legislation on sustainable finance, crypto-assets markets and operational resilience, as well as legislative reviews of MiFID II and Basel III.
Before joining the firm, Flupke gained experience at the Directorate-General for Presidency of the European Parliament and a leading federation of European environmental organisations. He holds degrees in law and politics.

· Large technology-based firm – advising on the EU proposal for a Digital Markets Act and associated legislative initiatives, including the Digital Services Act. This includes advice on the legislative process and interest representation.
