Several of our partners were recently featured in a Catalyst CEO Champions for Change profile detailing our firm's 2020 Global Gender Initiative as well as other female-friendly policies.

Global Chief Executive Peter Martyr (London), Immediate Past US Managing Partner Linda Addison (Houston and New York), US Head of Employment and Labor Shauna Clark (Houston) and partner Cori Annapolen Goldberg (New York and Washington, DC) were all quoted giving their takes on the firm's effort to improve gender diversity.

"Our global diversity and inclusion initiatives play a pivotal role in retaining and developing people within Norton Rose Fulbright, and we have a clear goal on which to focus our efforts," Peter commented.

Linda added, "Norton Rose Fulbright is setting the standard for diversity and inclusion. We are changing not only ourselves, but the entire legal profession, and helping it become one where all talent will thrive and rise."

The 2020 Global Gender Initiative involves the firm setting an aspirational goal for women to constitute 30 percent of its partnership, management committees, and board by 2020. Other policies mentioned included the firm's continued support of the Women in Norton Rose Fulbright (WiN) Network, and the development of the award-winning Career Strategies Program (CSP).

A first-of-its-kind initiative in the legal field, CSP provides support, training, and opportunities for high-potential women on the firm's leadership track. CSP has run for several years in Australia, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, and recently launched in the United States.

Catalyst CEO Champions for Change was launched on International Women's Day 2017 as part of an effort to increase female representation in leadership roles. Today, the group includes more than 50 high-profile CEOs, whose companies represent more than nine million employees and more than US$1.7 trillion in revenue globally.
