Our Montreal, Ottawa, Calgary, Vancouver, Dubai, London, Houston, Perth, Melbourne, Moscow and Singapore offices represented SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. in the sale of the entities and assets of its resource oil and gas engineering and construction services business to Kent (formerly Kentech Holdings).
This was a very significant transaction for our client, as it allows it to de-risk its operations and reduce Lump Sum Turnkey (LSTK) delivery and warranty obligations, as well as to accelerate the realization of its ongoing transition to becoming a leading provider of professional engineering services and project management solutions.

Norton Rose Fulbright was lead counsel to SNC-Lavalin in this complex carve-out transaction, which involved a very significant pre-closing reorganization, and the direction and supervision of the work of many local firms in jurisdictions where we do not have a presence.
