Dixie Energy Trust asset sale to Gulf Pine Energy Partners, L.P.

Our Calgary, Houston and New York offices acted for Dixie Energy Trust, an unlisted public trust, on their US $47.5 million sale of all of their US operating assets to Gulf Pine Energy Partners, L.P. and the approval for the wind up of the trust. Gulf Pine Energy Partners, LP is a limited partnership of Pine Brook Road Associates II, L.P. and is managed by the former Dixie Energy Trust management team. The transactions were approved at a meeting of the unitholders of Dixie Energy Trust on December 29, 2014.
