International team advises Source Energy Services on cross-border acquisition

Our Calgary, Vancouver, Dallas and New York offices advised Source Energy Services on its US$80 million acquisition of certain assets of Preferred Sands including a Northern White proppant mine in Blair, Wisconsin and two large frac sand terminals located in Chetwynd and Fort Nelson, BC, as well as exploration rights to more than 3,600 acres of land in the Peace River Valley of Alberta.

The team was led by Tom Collopy, and included Jaclyn Hesje-Platis, Alan Harvie, Correna Jones, Darren Hueppelsheuser, Brian Milne, Matt Longstaff, Eric Malysa and Chi Iliya-Ndule (Calgary); Alexander Fane, Andrew Schafer and Riley Burr (Vancouver); Donald Ainscow and Anna Kobernick (Dallas); and Mara Rogers (New York).
