Toronto advised Smoothwater on announced acquisition of Equity Financial for C$93m in cash

Our Toronto office advised Smoothwater Capital Corporation announced acquisition of Equity Financial Holdings, whereby Smoothwater is to acquire for C$9.75 per share in cash all of the outstanding shares of Equity Financial other than Shares already owned or controlled by Smoothwater, its officers, and by certain other shareholders who have agreed to remain as continuing shareholders. The approximate value of the transaction is C$93m.
