Canadian special situations team earns top spot in Bloomberg’s 2021 league tables

For the second consecutive year, global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright was named the top activist advisor in Bloomberg’s advisory league tables. In addition, the team secured the number three spot on the company side advisory league tables, moving up four places since 2020.

The global law firm had three engagements in Canada listed in the activism advisory league tables, all of which launched in 2020. At the time of the ranking announcement, the combined stake value was US$100m. In instances where the team acted for the company, Norton Rose Fulbright was credited for its role in two deals, with a combined stake value of US$2bn.
