René-Martin Langlois

René-Martin Langlois is a civil and commercial litigator who focuses on construction law and public procurement matters. His practice includes all aspects of litigation, including the provision of legal advice, procedural drafting and the representation of clients before civil courts and arbitration tribunals.

Mr. Langlois has gained particular experience in the area of public procurement, and his services cover all aspects of the tendering process. As such, he is regularly sought to advise local and foreign businesses, as well as providers of work in connection with calls for tenders for the awarding of construction, service or procurement contracts, in a litigious context or not.

Mr. Langlois also handles issues regarding the issuance of authorizations to contract by the Autorité des marchés financiers (Quebec's securities regulator) for the awarding of certain public contracts, and he is frequently called upon to assist local and foreign businesses over their approach in that regard.
