Biography
Michèle Giguère practises employment and labour law. Her specific areas of focus include issues related to hiring, termination, labour standards, occupational health and safety, human rights and freedoms, and interpreting and applying employment contracts and collective agreements.
During her law studies, Michèle participated in the Pierre-Basile-Mignault moot court competition in which she was awarded the prize for second-best litigator and that for best team. She was also involved in the McGill University Legal Clinic. Finally, after her first bachelor of arts degree from Laval University, Michèle worked in Paris, France.
