Biography

Amy Yang is an associate on our banking and finance team. Her practice focuses on syndicated and bilateral debt financings, project finance, acquisition finance, reserve and asset-backed lending and offerings of bonds, debentures and convertible debt. Amy also advises clients in connection with distressed debt offerings and restructuring matters. Amy acts regularly on behalf of both corporate borrowers and lenders in a variety of national and cross-border transactions.

  • RBC Capital Markets on the issuance and sale of C$110 million of 4.166% first lien senior secured notes by a wholly owned subsidiary of Alberta Investment Management Corporation
  • RBC Capital Markets on the issuance by Northern Courier Pipeline Limited Partnership of C$1 billion of 3.365% first lien senior secured notes 
  • RBC Capital Markets and Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce as co-lead arrangers and joint bookrunners in respect of the underwritten financing of the merger of ARC Resources Ltd. and Seven Generations Energy Ltd.
  • One of the world's largest fund management and investment firms specializing in renewable energy infrastructure on its investment in and financing of the Travers solar power project in Southern Alberta
  • Parkland Corporation on the amendment and restatement of its revolving credit agreement, in which its credit facilities were consolidated and upsized to C$1.715 billion and US$155 million
  • Bank of Montreal in connection with the amendment and restatement of a C$800 million revolving credit facility made available to MEG Energy Corp. and the concurrent amendment and restatement of its letter of credit facility guaranteed by Export Development Canada and related intercreditor arrangements
