Norton Rose Fulbright expands in Hong Kong with new funds partner

Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright is pleased to announce that Jason Chan has joined the firm as a partner in its Hong Kong office.
Jason brings extensive experience in the establishment and structuring of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, crypto funds, tokenised funds, venture capital funds and retail funds such as ETFs. He has been actively engaged in the FinTech and virtual assets space, regularly advising industry participants on the evolving regulatory landscape and associated transactional matters. Jason also advises financial institutions on a broad range of regulatory and licensing matters, with a particular focus in securities and asset management.
Jason is recognised as “Band 3” for FinTech Legal (International Firms) in China by Chambers FinTech Guide 2026. He has also been named “Rising Star Partner” in Investment Funds and Financial Services Regulatory by IFLR1000 2025, “Rising Star” by Asian Legal Business Awards 2024 and featured in LexisNexis’ “40 under 40” for Greater China.
